Charles Schwab 2025 Charles Schwab Technology Software Engineering Internship in Westlake, Texas

Your opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

Throughout the 9-week paid Software Engineering Technology internship, there will be inspiring opportunities that welcome you into the Schwab culture, immerse you into your role, and guide you on how to create technology that serves millions of customers. The interactive internship program focuses on a variety of opportunities which feature a business track project, an intern cohort project, learning activities, a dedicated intern leader, networking, and exploring your unique personal strengths!

You will help support application design and development, third party product integration, and management of Schwab’s technology platforms while gaining hands-on experience with new tools and technologies. Technology interns will also learn about the Software Development Life Cycle and Product Development Lifecycle. Intern responsibilities may include designing, coding, testing, and documenting new or existing software, reviewing code to detect and remove bugs, peer reviewing code for other Schwab engineers, participating in scrum and/or agile projects, and collaborating to understand business needs. Interns will gain experience in technologies that deliver solutions that improve efficiency and productivity of existing, new, and emerging tools!

As you begin to invest in your early talent career, personal and professional support will be provided by working alongside a dedicated group of architects, developers, system engineers, and leaders to create concepts and experiences that solve problems for the firm and its clients. Come “challenge the status quo” for the Summer of 2025 and learn what is means to be the next generation of Schwab change makers!
