Description
Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Network Administrator at a prominent Retail company. To be successful in this role, you should have a can-do attitude and be an organized problem solver who is passionate about ensuring and maintaining a stable network infrastructure. You will develop, administer, and maintain the network infrastructure to support the business by ensuring security, integrity and high-availability of enterprise systems and related components. You will work with constantly changing software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems. It will be crucial for you to stay current and fully informed through ongoing education. This Network Administrator role is a long-term contract opportunity.
How you will make an impact
Adhering to company policies and procedures to administer the operation of all local area networks / wide area network related services
Applying LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam control measures
Coordinating and implementing network software and hardware upgrades
Troubleshooting and resolving local area networks / wide area network performance, connectivity and related network problems
Requirements - 5+ years relevant experience
Proficiency in Network Administration
Demonstrated knowledge of Cisco Hardware
General familiarity with Cisco Firewall
Fortinet Firewalls experience highly preferred
Cisco Technologies experience highly desired
Aruba Wireless experience required
Network Engineering experience preferred
Practical knowledge of Cisco CCNA
Adeptness in Cisco Wireless
Solid understanding of Aruba
Expertise in network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations
Previous experience in production environments and being on-call
