Be you ... be here.* Job Summary The Graphic Designer contributes to the success of marketing initiatives for our internal partners, external audiences, and new business opportunities. The Graphic Designer designs and develops branded sales and communication materials and are a brand steward with a focus on design execution, responsible for layouts and production of print design solutions that achieve the strategic goals of the brand. This includes being responsible for assigned revisions, mock-ups, and presentation materials. Works closely with Senior Designers, Design Leads, Design Managers and our Marketing partners to collaborate and create communication pieces that meet the standards of the department and our business needs. Essential Job Functions Create and Design: C reates innovative design solutions - understands brand hallmarks, design trends, identity and brand guidelines. Executes both print and digital design requests on smaller independent projects as well as work in support of large-scale projects. Explores solutions that are grounded in creative strategy . Contribut es to creative concepts on behalf of independent projects as well as in support of the Creative Communications team. Creative Strateg y : Respo n sible for partnering with internal clients, understanding i ntent behind the request, and ensures the creative brief is followed. Coordinates the production of designed pieces in support of the Creative Communications team. Work s on individual requests as well as larger group initiatives . Project Management: F ollows processes and utilizes tools on behalf of the Creative Communications team. Understands the importance of budgets, timeline management , project tracking and multitasking multiple requests , while delivering innovative design solutions. Works closely with "account partners" on all aspects of the project; from concept through production. Reports to : Manager /Sr. Manager Creative Communications Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements :

  • This position is hybrid with an onsite schedule of 3 - 4 days per month.
  • In-office requirements are subject to change based on business needs.
  • This position is currently available to candidates that reside within 60 miles of a Bread Financial location.
  • Normal office environment , some travel may be required.

Direct Reports : N one Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience

``` - Two or more years experience of Design work in either a corporate or an agency setting. A portfolio is required for consideration

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BFA or other accredited design certification) in Graphic Design, Web Design, UI/UX Three or more years Design work in either a corporate or an agency setting. Design experience across channels.
