Job Summary The Director, Global Service Offering (Digital Services) is responsible for the development of the portfolio of Digital Service offerings within Vertiv's Service Business including the following offerings; Condition Based Maintenance, Advanced Diagnostics & Incident Management, Asset Monitoring, Asset Management and Sustainability Services. The development of a range of Digital Service is seen as a strategic program for Vertiv and aligns with Market evolution from a traditional time based maintenance offering with a break/ fix element to a more advanced service offering including remote diagnostics and condition based Maintenance programs. The developed offerings should highlight the significant benefits to customer including improved risk management, reduced OPEX costs, Sustainability and improved asset managements. The sales arguments should be developed to enable the Vertiv sales teams to easily activate contractual support The Service team operates in a global and cross-functional environment and has frequent interactions with customers, sales, engineering, marketing, and operations to deliver sustainable revenue and profitability growth. The role requires constant alignment with Vertiv's customer base to ensure the services developed stay aligned with market requirements as well as frequent collaboration with the Regional Service and Product Lines of Business teams to identify market opportunities, execute new service offering programs, and ensure new products are launched with valuable service offerings and serviceability benefits. The role will work in close co-operation with the Global Service Platform Team and the Global Service Portfolio Management function to deliver key activities include launching new services, managing the existing portfolio of services and establishing a continuous development path for digital services. Responsibilities: * Manage global service offerings in alignment with the Line of Business product roadmap and regional service-related initiatives to maximize value creation of the complete offering for customers. * Collaborate with the Line of Business and Global Service Product Portfolio Management teams to develop and maintain the Global Service strategic plan. * Develop and execute service offering programs (e.g., new service introduction, service enhancements, custom service, and end of service) in collaboration with global product and regional service teams. * Develop and maintain service offering business cases through ideation, development, and launch. * Lead serviceability, service enablement, and service offering requirements development for new product development programs within the Line of Business. * Develop baseline pricing, scopes of work, sales tools, and marketing collateral/campaigns in collaboration with Regional Service, Sales, and Marketing teams. * Research, analyze, and monitor market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. * Identify market opportunities and gather serviceability and service offering requirements of customers. * Develop and track metrics to measure post-launch sales and profitability performance of new offerings. * Collaborate with Regional Service teams to drive demand generation and meet/exceed business case targets. * Identify and pursue continuous improvement projects that deliver improved efficiency and/or quality. * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
