Machine Operator WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA 01089 Job Number: RM8289401417 Pay Rate: \$17.67-18.27 / hour Job Description Machine Assistant Currently seeking experienced Machine Assistants to fill positions with a large manufacturing company located in West Springfield, MA. Long-term temp to possible hire! Benefits/Compensation Weekly Pay - 2nd shift Shift starting at \$18.27/hr ? Optional Health Insurance Responsibilities of the Machine Assistant ? Assist in the successful operation of the machine ? Work with machine operator to control the speed of the machine to meet production goals ? Assist in keeping the area neat & clean ? Responsible for utilizing any personal protective equipment that is necessary for the task ? Ensure that safety is the top priority ? Diagnose & troubleshoot minor machine issues; escalate as needed ? Maintain accurate production records ? Complete assigned tasks in a safe & timely manner Requirements of the Machine Assistant ? Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment ? Good time management skills ? Must be a self-starter who can work efficiently with little supervision ? 3 months experience in manufacturing preferred, not required ? Ability to stand on your feet for the entire shift ?
