Agency with Choice Support Staff Until Filled (EST) Family Services/Autism Connections West Springfield, MA, USA 22-22 per hour Hourly Per Diem Would you like to make a difference in someone\'s life? Do you enjoy creative thinking and networking with others in community settings? SUMMARY OF POSITION: Perform a variety of home and/or community based direct care duties to support individuals with autism and to promote their dignity, safety, health, welfare, rights, development and social inclusion; provide transportation to individuals. POSITION AVAILABILITY: Reliable support person needed in West Springfield area to assist a young man with autism in the areas of skill-building and community-based recreational activities, using a person-centered approach. Consistent attendance and good communication skills required. Must have experience working with people with autism HOURLY RATE: \$22.00 QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years or older Valid Massachusetts driver\'s license Reliable transportation High school diploma or GED Two supervisory references.
