Ozarks Medical Center Surgical Tech II in West Plains, Missouri
Surg Tech I, II, III, & IV: Assesses patient’s needs by determining planned procedure and physician preference. Plans for care of patient during intraoperative phase by being prepared for the surgical procedure. Responsible and accountable to have instruments, supplies, and equipment available for planned procedure. Surg Tech II: Must possess ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing to solve problems and make decisions. Able to function during intraoperative phase of care. Surg Tech II: Surgical Tech I; National Certification or acceptable On-the-Job Training equal to Two (2) years full time experience.
Maintain education on NetLearning, BLS certification, and any other department competencies.
