Amentum Finance Analyst - Senior in West Palm Beach, Florida
Amentum is seeking a Finance Analyst - Senior in West Palm Beach, Florida to work as part of a close-knit team, as well as independently, to accomplish a range of functions as you support AUTEC. As the Finance Analyst - Senior , you will calculate, monitor, and audit direct costs focusing on budgets and Estimate at Complete (EAC) – specifically tied to management at the work order level. This position requires the individual to be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
As a member of our team, you will:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform financial analysis on multiple work orders (Technical Instructions or TIs).
Manage funding requirements on multiple work orders/TIs.
Assist with charge number set up with TI managers.
Review timecard entries of employees and vendors on a weekly basis to ensure proper and accurate charging.
Perform random timecard audits with employees on a weekly basis (including Andros based employees).
Responsible to partner with varying levels of functional management and program management with regular and ad-hoc reporting, metrics and analysis.
Plans and prepares complex studies to determine cost of business activities.
Ability to exercise independent judgment with ability to identify and improve processes.
Assist in the preparation of pricing budgets and budget narratives.
Participate in audits with internal and external auditors (e.g. DCAA).
Occasional travel to remote island with limited medical facilities.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field required.
Three (3) or more years progressively responsible related financial experience.
Advanced command of Microsoft Office Suite to include Access relational databases, Excel VLookups, pivot tables, and macros.
Experience with Microsoft Excel required.
Good interpersonal skills.
Professional conduct in written and verbal communication.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Planning and organizing skills to balance and prioritize work.
Ability to work independently or as a team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Valid a passport will be required.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S government Secret security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree preferred.
CPA or CMA certifications preferred.
Experience with Microsoft PowerBI a plus.
Knowledge of VBA and SQL a plus.
Experience with Costpoint Time, Costpoint Expense, and/or IBM MAXIMO a plus.
Strong background using MS Excel and PowerBI.
Experience briefing managers and teammates with financial data for decision support and mission execution purposes.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced and constantly changing environment with tight-timelines for providing deliverable business products.
Strong collaboration and organization skills for multi-person efforts.
