Note: The hourly rate for this position is $27 - $30 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements
Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines
Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools
Test system for leaks using testing equipment
Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system
Safely rig equipment following all OSHA requirements
Inspection of work, identification of potential problems, initiation of corrective actions
Ensure correct work procedures adhered to Install clamps, brackets and hangers to support piping system using hand and power tools
Qualifications:
Ability to layout and read blueprints
Experience with carbon and stainless steel
Experience with piping and structural installations
Ability to bring your own tools to work with you each day
Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Prior experience in the industrial field preferred
Position may require a drug screen
