Note: The hourly rate for this position is $27 - $30 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours

  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements

  • Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines

  • Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools

  • Test system for leaks using testing equipment

  • Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system

  • Safely rig equipment following all OSHA requirements

  • Inspection of work, identification of potential problems, initiation of corrective actions

  • Ensure correct work procedures adhered to Install clamps, brackets and hangers to support piping system using hand and power tools

    Qualifications:

  • Ability to layout and read blueprints

  • Experience with carbon and stainless steel

  • Experience with piping and structural installations

  • Ability to bring your own tools to work with you each day

  • Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers

  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Prior experience in the industrial field preferred

  • Position may require a drug screen
