1. Develop digital graphics files, negatives, and printing plates using the software, hardware, and equipment provided under the guidance of a Graphic Specialist or Lead Person,
2. Reads orders to determine appropriate materials and setup steps
3. Develop detailed knowledge of all graphics duties, including but not limited to:
   1. Expertise in the use of Adobe Illustrator, RIP and job output software, and to a lesser extent, Adobe Photoshop
   2. An understanding of the fundamentals of flexographic printing: anilox rolls, spot colors/halftones/process colors, line screen determination, dot gain & compensation curves, trapping, print registration & impression, etc.
   3. An understanding of the job specific details of multiwall bags: bag layouts, templates & folding; bleed & trim standards; when and where to use registration targets, tonal scales and other marks; freight class stamps and other logos
   4. An understanding of our processes and the capabilities and requirements of our equipment: order spec sheets, imagesetter and/or digital imaging device, liquid and sheet photopolymer plate making systems, view-glass and camera plate mounting systems, capabilities/limitations of each printing press, etc.
   5. Utilizing the knowledge in a-d above to move from job instruction (plate request) through file development/editing, proofing, submission for approval, final editing, output, and follow-up while minimizing both errors and waste
   6. Learning to communicate effectively with customer service, the plate maker, the plate mounter, press operators, and others as necessary to achieve great results
