Our printing client is seeking a Facilities Custodian to join their team. As a Facilities Custodian, you will be responsible for cleaning three locations. The ideal candidate will have janitorial, inventory, and cleaning experience which will align successfully in the organization
Job Title: Facilities Custodian
Location: York, PA
Pay Range: $19 an hour
Hours: 7am-3pm
What’s the Job?
Cleans all restrooms daily (mops floors and cleans sinks, toilets, and mirrors).
Cleans lunchroom daily (mops floor and cleans tables, chairs, and countertops).
Cleans lunchroom ice machines, microwaves, and refrigerators, weekly.
Cleans and disinfects six conference rooms daily (vacuums, removes trash, and disinfects all surfaces).
Collects trash in all office areas on both floors, daily.
Removes trash and debris on the grounds.
Drives to other company locations and cleans lunch area and restrooms, daily.
Dry and wet mops the lobby and each point of entry, as needed.
Dry and wet mops other areas of the facility, as needed.
Cleans all glass doors in lobby and at points of entry, daily.
Vacuums various areas of the facility, weekly, or as needed.
Completes monthly inventory counts of PPE products.
Competes monthly inventory counts of restroom and kitchen supplies.
Completes monthly inventory counts of cleaners.
Submits order requests to ensure an adequate supply of resources always remains available.
Receives and stores monthly inventory orders in secure area and controls distribution of inventory to lunchroom, restroom areas, conference rooms, as needed.
Stocks water in conference room refrigerators, daily.
Replenishes tissues in conference rooms.
Moves furniture, equipment, boxes, materials, etc., as needed.
What’s Needed?
High school diploma or GED equivalency, required
Valid PA driver’s license and clear driving record required
Reliable vehicle to travel to multiple location
Able to transfer, lift, and/or reposition materials to a height of 3-4 feet, and up to 70 pounds.
