Monte Nido has been delivering treatment for eating disorders for over two decades. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our dedicated team in West Linn , Oregon . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child and adolescent psychiatry, with a focus on providing evidence-based care for individuals with eating disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions.

Clementine West Linn provides the highest level of medical and psychiatric care outside of a hospital within the comfort of a home. Treatment is integrated with personalized clinical and nutritional care and comprehensive academic and family support. Always sensitive to the developmental needs of this younger population, our treatment is therapeutically grounded, incorporating state-of-the-art approaches, research, and outcome data. Woven into our culture is a philosophy of connection and teamwork with each adolescent’s family, working to instill hope and trust and providing the tools needed to heal alongside their loved one.

This is a flexible schedule position, with rounds weekly (any day) and virtual evaluations of new admissions within 48 hours.

Responsibilities Include:

Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis:

  • Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments for children and adolescents presenting with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

  • Provide accurate and timely psychiatric diagnoses based on comprehensive evaluations.

Treatment Planning and Implementation:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address the unique needs of child and adolescent patients.

Medication Management:

  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications as appropriate, ensuring safety and efficacy.

  • Monitor and adjust medication regimens based on patient response and clinical considerations.

Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team:

  • Work collaboratively with psychologists, therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care.

  • Participate in regular treatment team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Education and Support:

  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding psychiatric diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery.

  • Collaborate with families to develop strategies for managing and supporting their child's mental health.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited MD program.

  • Psychiatry Residency completed from an accredited institution.

  • Board certification in Child and Adolescent psychiatry.

Experience:

  • Knowledge and skills compatible to an individual with board certification in Psychiatry

  • Minimum of 2 years’ prior relevant psychiatric experience

  • Experience with adults, children and adolescents, strongly preferred

Licensure/Certification:

  • Current unrestricted license in the state of OR in Psychiatry (MD/DO)

  • Board eligible/Board certified in Psychiatry
