As the Trade Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Vice President of Trade Marketing as a key marketing partner for the North America and Australia Sales team, with a focus on key accounts such as Sephora, Ulta, and Mecca, as well as North America Specialty partners. Your responsibilities will include managing retailer sampling programs, maintaining the North America Retailer Promotional Calendar, and handling retailer comp requests for various marketing initiatives.

WHAT YOU DO:

Support VP, Trade Marketing as key marketing partner to Hourglass North America + Australia Sales team, key accounts Sephora, Ulta, and Mecca, and NA Specialty partners

Manage North America + Australia retailer sampling programs; submitting plans to retailers & coordinating orders to hit program deadlines while remaining on budget

Maintain NA Retailer Promotional Calendar

Manage all retailer comp requests for marketing campaigns, photography shoots, social exposures, etc.

Manage NA + AUS retailer digital asset requests

Partner with Creative team on NA + AUS retail partner creative asset brief submissions

Lead retailer product page management from seasonal new launch updates to ongoing maintenance and optimization

Work Closely with VP, Trade Marketing on retailer meeting preparation and deck creation for NA + AUS, including bi-annual Market meetings

Work closely with VP, Trade Marketing to manage master assortment and retailer assortment files for NA + AUS

Work closely with VP, Trade Marketing to manage and balance NA + AUS retail marketing budget

Work closely with VP, Trade Marketing and Visual Merchandising team on seasonal update planograms and secondary placement fixtures

Coordinate standing retailer calls – schedule, create agenda, and send recap to key internal stakeholders

Direct management of Specialist, Trade Marketing

Ability to manage complex and multiple priorities

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 7 years of experience within trade marketing in beauty, luxury preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field

Passion for product, specifically cosmetics and skincare

Must be an excellent communicator, natural networker, team player and highly-organized

Proven success leading cross-functional team, and processes

Analytical, with experience tracking and reporting

Adaptable, resourceful, and forward thinking

Experience working at innovative, fast-paced startups or indie brands is a plus

A strong background in trade marketing within cosmetics or skincare

Thrive on solving problems and implementing creative solutions

Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills

Creative, positive and high-energy individual with an ability to execute

Must be able to work from Corporate Office at least 60% of the time.

The expected base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $110,000.00. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
