Insight Global REMOTE LATAM - Sr Product Manager (Signal & Governance) in West Hollywood, California

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager (Signal & Governance), who will drive the Signal Acquisition product efforts within the Signal & Governance - Revenue Product group to ensure the highest, sustained monetization of any platform in the free, ad-supported TV space. This role has a primary focus on ensuring our ad inventory has the highest quality data signals to further monetization across our global footprint. For example, how you will measure impacts in this space directly come from the initial registration/sign up process for the streaming service from the user, such as, 1st party data that includes personal information (while being compliant with privacy laws). This data from registered users is used to give them a better and tailored ad experience while using the streaming services while also driving the company to better increase viewership, monetization, ad supply/targeted ads, etc. This individual will lead the Signal & Governance product team efforts to ensure the ad monetization opportunities that exist with our advertising, content, and distribution partners are highly available, operationally reliable, and privacy compliant. This role will work with Product, Data Engineering, BI, STE, and Technology stakeholders to understand technical and commercial needs to create products that directly and measurably drive revenue while adhering to our highly scalable and performant technical infrastructure. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, including opportunity costs, while balancing strategic and tactical approaches will be integral to success, maintaining a thorough understanding of the rapidly evolving technical, industry, and regulatory landscape is expected and will be necessary to inform feature and initiative prioritization and development.

This is a significant role with a wide range of additional responsibilities, including:

- Cross-Functional Team Relationship: Develop and maintain healthy and productive, working relationships across the core Revenue Product/PMO/Engineering teams, the critical non-Revenue teams (including Legal, Privacy, Paramount Ad Platforms, Ad Operations, Sales Leadership, and Monetization teams).

- Product Planning: Become familiar with and contribute to the product OKRs, goals, strategies, and roadmap plans for the Signal Acquisition and Data Analysis initiatives and ensure their prioritization on the all-up Revenue Product Roadmap. This includes defining and managing success metrics. Depending on where we are in the quarterly planning cycle, within your first 60 days define and advocate for at least one Signal related feature to be prioritized within the Scaled Agile Framework we use.

- Ad Tech & Revenue Data Analysis (SME): Within 90 days, become the subject matter expert on Signal, including a deep understanding of the technology and market landscape, primary vendors we use, current technology and known evolution of the industry tools used to drive the unique value proposition to Pluto's business. Maintain a current and sophisticated understanding of the evolving privacy and data collection laws as well as new technical challenges and opportunities and plan for future disruptions. Develop and gain approval for specific revenue KPIs related to our Signal Acquisition program.

Skills and Requirements

-THIS ROLE IS REMOTE IN LATAM (candidates located in Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Peru are preferred)

-*Must be able to work PST hours

-2-3+ years of commercial Product Management experience, particularly with demonstrated leadership in the management of a product (or portfolio of products) through the software development lifecycle, from conception, design, development, production launch through ongoing performance measurement and optimization.

-Experience with digital advertising (preferably in CTV or streaming video -- this is not required though).

-Experience with indirect programmatic eco-systems, Ad servers, and programmatic partners (SSP, DSP, Ad Exchanges) and (Freewheel (highly preferred), Google Ad Manager) and (Magnite, The Trade Desk, etc.)

-Experience building cross-platform experiences (i.e. Web technologies, native mobile, or CTV applications)

-Adept at tailoring communications depending on the circumstances, whether the audience is technical, non-technical, Legal, or executive.

-Intellectual curiosity and passion for identifying key problems that are faced by the business, by the market and by current technologies.

-Track record of results when working collaboratively and being dependent on others.

* Comfortable with analyzing data to identify trends, diagnose problems, and creating solutions.

-Comfortable working/collaborating with Data Engineering, BI, Product, Revenue Engineering, STE, (etc.) teams/stakeholders

-Basic understanding of how data is structured (i.e. must be data driven/ know how to do data reporting/dashboards) and be able to write requirements

-Strong written and verbal communication skills, solid presentation skills, and proven ability to run effective meetings; comfortable interacting at all levels of an organization.

-Very strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to achieve results through influence. -Previous streaming experience, Web CTV, video and/or Digital Media experience.

-Working experience with SDK integrations, Registration/1st Party data, and Global Consumer Products.

-Understanding of ad-supported video on-demand and/or video streaming technologies.

-Experience and maturity managing business or technology partnerships, including participation in strategy discussions, negotiations and reviewing contracts. null
