Job descriptionBeyond TalentEdge is hiring a temporary candidate who can perform duties such as assemble of micro-electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, products, or systems in a controlled assembly environment observing established manufacturing, operating and quality standards.Duties and Responsibilities:Must be able to read and comprehend instructions and follow established proceduresCandidates will be instructed to collect all material and equipment needed to begin the processYou will need to make precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of componentsSelect or modify components according to measurements and specificationsAlign material and put together parts to build more complex unitsCheck output to ensure highest qualityMake sure equipment is in good conditionKeep track of production quantities and timeReport on issues, malfunction, or defective partsKeep all parts and equipment operational by providing preventative maintenance and reporting any repairs neededMaintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Minimum Qualifications:Assembly experience preferredAbility to read blueprints, drawings etc.Able to use small tools (e.g., clamps, calipers) when neededGood understanding of quality controlGood communication skills (verbal and written)Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical conditionAbility to work as part of a teamGreat attention to detailExperience with optical and electronic devices preferredExperience with MS OfficeExcellent planning and organizational skillsPhysical Demands:Frequently required to sit, speak, hear, see, and perform repetitive motion with hands, arms, and shoulders.
