The Pricing Analyst for Lewis will play a crucial role in partnering with the operations team to submit profitable and competitive bids. This position demands a keen analytical mind, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments to drive the company's financial success. The candidate will also assist in the preparation and analysis of various financial statements used to monitor and measure business activity within the limits of established practices, policies, and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pricing strategies, financial analysis, data analysis, and can build strong relationships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with the company's financial goals and market conditions.

  • Collaborate with the operations team to understand project scopes and cost structures, ensuring accurate and competitive bid submissions.

  • Prepare detailed and accurate bid proposals for projects, including cost estimates, pricing models, and profit margins.

  • Develop reporting to review and analyze bid performance to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

  • Develop expertise by mastering existing bid tools, recommend and implement enhancements, and innovate with the creation of new tools.

  • Partner with the operations team to ensure alignment between pricing strategies and project execution.

  • Foster strong working relationships with internal and external partners to facilitate smooth bid preparation and submission processes.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly financial statements and reports in collaboration with accounting team. Analyze statements and provide succinct commentary detailing main drivers behind business performance. Alert management of any red flags and identify solutions when applicable.

  • Prepare, review and present financial models to leadership. Ensure that financial reporting is accurate, timely and in compliance with Company policies, directives and accounting principles.

  • Assist in the preparation of annual and five-year forecasts with input from operations and corporate departments. Analyze and report on business drivers when actual performance deviates from forecast.

  • Participate in process improvement teams.

  • Knowledge of company standards, policies, practices, procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

  • Assist company personnel and others with resolution of issues related to areas of responsibility.

  • Establish, document and implement approved policies, procedures (task notes, etc.) necessary to assure a high degree of quality in work performed.

  • Maintain accurate, timely and well-organized computer and paper files.

  • Meets goals and expectations of department and performs other duties as assigned by management.

  • Oversee area of responsibility in a manner consistent with the Mission and Values of the Company.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or related field; MBA a plus.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or a related role.

  • Knowledge of pricing strategies, financial modeling, and market analysis.

  • Experience preparing financial analysis, management reports, and working with large amounts of data a plus.

TECHNOLOGY, EQUIPMENT & TOOLS:

  • Microsoft Office (advanced proficiency in Excel required with at least medium PowerPoint proficiency).

  • Experience retrieving and analyzing large amounts of data from data tables and data warehouses.

  • Market research experience a plus.

  • Experience with Oracle/JDE or another ERP systems a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

COMPENSATION: $65,000 - $87,000

Lewis Services regularly evaluates our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. Starting pay will be based on a candidate’s experience, skills and education.
