Description

We are offering a role for a Project Assistant based in West Haven, Connecticut. This position revolves around assisting in the execution of research projects, managing data, and collaborating with team members. The function of this role falls within the scope of customer service and data entry, and the selected candidate will be instrumental in managing timelines for various tasks and projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting experiments and research activities, with a focus on immunology

• Collect, process, and analyze data from experiments, ensuring accurate recording of research findings

• Maintain the integrity of databases by entering and organizing data using software tools

• Contribute to project planning and discussions in team meetings

• Provide administrative support as necessary, such as scheduling meetings and coordinating activities

• Use data analysis tools proficiently to enhance efficiency and accuracy of tasks

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and other Microsoft Office tools for various tasks

• Collaborate with researchers, lab technicians, and other team members to achieve project objectives

• Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and manuscripts for publication

• Display strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational and time-management abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role or related field

• Experience in clinical research and research analysis

• Excellent customer service skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to manage timelines and meet deadlines

• Experience in organizing files and maintaining a neat and orderly workspace

• Familiarity with shipping functions and scanning documents

• Ability to prepare executive presentations and contribute to team meetings

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country

• Must adhere to company's code of conduct and policies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong team player with the ability to work independently

• Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information professionally

• Proactive attitude with a focus on creating ideas to improve performance and efficiency.
