Quality Consulting Group Manufacturing Process Technician in West Greenwich, Rhode Island

QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, a leader in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing industry, is looking for a talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing in a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.

Responsibilities:        

  • Work in a dynamic production environment at the Clients Drug Substance plant supporting commercial, clinical, and launch activities.

  • Under general supervision, employee will perform operations in the Manufacturing area. Operations will be performed according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Equipment set up, operation, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs

  • Perform routine manufacturing process operations (equipment cleaning, dispensing of raw materials/components, material reconciliation etc.)

  • Trains staff on manufacturing processes, equipment use and general skills

  • Performs/Facilitates process, area, and equipment inspections and risk assessments as needed. (IC)

  • Performs sample collections.

  • Computer use (keyboarding and use of monitor, mouse or other input device)

  • Attend meetings in person as required

  • Lift and move up to 30 lbs (laptop and peripherals, laboratory materials, raw materials)

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree OR High school diploma / GED and 1 year of Manufacturing or Operations experience

  • Comfortable handling chemicals or can demonstrate the importance of lab safety.

  • Ability to focus, understand and follow written cGMP procedures and document according to cGMP requirements via hard copy and electronically

  • Able to monitor and troubleshoot critical processes and regularly draft and revise documents such as Manufacturing Procedures, SOPs, and technical reports such as deviations

  • Available for Day Shift 6:45am - 6:45pm Rotation
