Your Role as a Caregiver: As a caregiver with Griswold Home Care, no certification is required to get started—just a compassionate heart and a desire to make a difference! You will assist clients with their daily living activities while helping them remain comfortable in their own homes. Here's a glimpse of what you’ll do: * Companionship & Support: Offer companionship and emotional support to elderly clients. * Assist with Daily Living Activities (ADLs): Help clients with grooming, bathing, dressing, and mobility. * Light Housekeeping: Ensure a safe and clean environment by assisting with household tasks like laundry, meal prep, and cleaning. * Monitor Client Health: Pay attention to changes in your client’s health or behavior and report to the care team as needed. * Personalized Care: Follow the personalized care plan for each client and help maintain accurate daily records. * Team Collaboration: Work with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive the best possible care. What We’re Looking For: * Compassionate Personality: A caring attitude and a passion for helping others are essential. * Reliable Transportation: You’ll need a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to reach clients. * Flexibility: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends or evenings, is preferred. * Experience (Preferred but Not Required): Experience caring for a family member, loved one, or in a professional capacity is a plus, but we provide training for those just starting in the field. * Strong Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and care teams.
