Procurement Director
Description
As Procurement Director, you will lead the procurement function for our technology-focused business, assisting internal customers in the procurement process to optimize vendor spend and achieve corporate objectives.
In the short term, you will:
Execute against the strategy and annual plan, including:
Business priorities
New and renewal contracts
Improvement areas for key vendors
Process improvements
Achieve savings targets
Analyze, monitor, and track contract performance
Develop a full procurement process and monitor compliance
In the long term, you will:
Proactively evaluate and confirm vendor requirements, including volume requirements
Negotiate directly or assist in negotiating contract terms with vendors
Ensure contracts are obtained and properly archived in the contract repository

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 1 Year(s).
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in West Des Moines, Iowa and some days remote.
Work Environment
HYBRID. 2 days in office / 3 from home. Standard hours.
