ManpowerGroup Facilities Maintenance Engineer in West Des Moines, Iowa
Our high-profile client and American multinational technology corporation is seeking a Critical Environment Facility Support Engineer for a 6–18-month contract assignment at their facility located in Des Moines, IA. The ideal candidate holds an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification and previous experience supporting electrical and mechanical systems in a high availability infrastructure environment. Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Engineer
Location: Des Moines, IA
Pay Range: $43-48/HR on Experis W2
What’s the Job?
Take daily operational readings of all electrical equipment through routine rounds/log taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)
Ability to follow operating procedures (SOPs) for critical environment planned work activities
Energize a cabinet in a Colo
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) preventative maintenance quarterly and annually
System control panel preventative maintenance
What’s Needed?
5+ years of Experience with electrical systems in a high availability assembly / manufacturing / critical infrastructure environment such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E
Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code
Previous datacenter experience a plus
