Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the manufacturing industry located in West Chicago, Illinois. We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team. This role involves managing and developing a team, understanding financial statements, and improving processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop a team, ensuring efficiency and productivity

• Understand and interpret financial statements to gain insights into the company's financial health

• Handle journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records

• Prioritize tasks and improve processes to enhance the efficiency of accounting operations

• Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is accurate

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting

• Maintain and manage balance sheets, ensuring they accurately reflect the company's financial status. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a prerequisite for this role.

• Experience with journal entries is a key requirement.

• Applicant should have extensive knowledge of managing general ledgers.

• The ability to prepare and analyze financial statements is essential.

• Experience with balance sheets is required for this position.
