ManpowerGroup Maintenance Technician in West Carrollton, Ohio

Our customer in the West Carrollton, OH area is looking for a Maintenance Technician. As a Maintenance Tech you are responsible for carrying out various maintenance tasks as directed by the division. These tasks encompass a range of services including hydroblasting, catalyst handling, chemical cleaning, vacuum and sewer truck operation, tank cleaning, dewatering, and other assigned duties. The ideal candidate will approach their work with a positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute Maintenance Tasks: Perform labor and helper functions as directed for all services provided by the division. This includes but is not limited to:

  2. Hydroblasting: Operating high-pressure water equipment to clean surfaces.

  3. Catalyst Handling: Handling and maintaining catalyst materials used in industrial processes.

  4. Chemical Cleaning: Utilizing specialized chemicals to clean equipment and surfaces.

  5. Vacuum and Sewer Truck Operating: Operating vacuum and sewer trucks for waste removal.

  6. Tank Cleaning: Cleaning tanks used for storage or industrial processes.

  7. Dewatering: Removing water from work areas or equipment.

  8. Other Assigned Duties: Fulfilling additional tasks as instructed by supervisors.

  9. Maintain Positive Attitude: Approach all tasks with a positive attitude and commitment to excellence.

  10. Ensure Safety: Perform all work in a professional, safe manner adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in maintenance or related field preferred.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.

  • Team Player: Capable of working well within a team environment and taking direction from supervisors.

  • Safety Conscious: Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.

  • Problem-solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and find effective solutions.

  • Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors effectively.

Additional Information:

  • Work Environment: The role may involve working in industrial settings that can be noisy, dirty, and physically demanding. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.

  • Training: On-the-job training will be provided, but candidates with relevant experience will be preferred.

  • Schedule: The position may involve working irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on operational needs.
