Job Description:

  • Ensures timely communication with health system donors including transaction processing, follow-up correspondence, and appropriate utilization of donor management software.

  • Responsible for securing donors and sponsors for various events and provides logistical support for fundraising activities and events.

  • Facilitates grants and scholarships by processing applications, maintaining appropriate records, and preparing accountability reports.

  • Will act as a liaison between other key leaders and departments as well as hold responsibility for confidentiality and time-sensitive material.

  • Provides high-level administrative support to the Vice President - Foundation by conducting research, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, screening telephone calls and emails, and arranging conference calls, physical and virtual meetings.

  • Assists with various messaging strategies to highlight the work and accomplishments of the Foundation.

Qualifications:

  • Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) applications

  • Superior writing skills

  • Excellent attention to details, organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to anticipate needs

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Highly confidential

  • Preferred:

  • Prefer college Degree

  • Experience working closely with board of directors and community leaders

  • Proficiency in coordinating meetings, both physical and virtual

  • Basic Information Technology trouble-shooting skills

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique and coordination of people and resources

  • Experience with customer relationship management software preferred

  • Experience with fundraising, donor communication, or securing sponsorships preferred
