Description
Robert Half is looking for a Staff Accountant for an organization in the West Allis, WI area. Main job responsibilities will include: accounts payable, journal entries, monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations, monthly reporting, filing sales tax returns and additional responsibilities as assigned. Requirements
Proficient in ERP systems
Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Deep understanding of bank reconciliations
Journal entries experience required
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Remarkable analytical, quantitative and social skills
Outstanding organizational, written and verbal communication skills required
Spreadsheet and database capabilities
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
Recent and relevant accounting experience
