Key Responsibilities:
Advanced Imaging Procedures: Perform imaging procedures independently, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
Quality Assurance: Assist Clinical Specialists with QA, regulatory testing, and other technical initiatives.
Specialty Equipment: Demonstrate competency in specialty equipment (O.R., Fluoro Procedures, etc.) and analyze data promptly.
Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to the latest protocols and procedures.
Independent Functioning: Cover off shifts, on-call responsibilities, and perform services at satellite facilities while maintaining communication with the lead and management team.
Standardization Activities: Participate in system-level workgroups to standardize practices.
Protocol Development: Work directly with Radiologists on protocol development.
Training and Mentorship: Help train staff and student technologists, sharing your expertise.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Candidates at all levels of the career ladder will be considered, including Radiology Students on track to graduate in Fall 2024.
Certifications: Must hold appropriate certifications and demonstrate competency in required areas.

Diagnostic Technologist Advanced Level Educational and Experience Requirements:
Educational Background: Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Experience: At least 2 years of diagnostic experience.
Performance: Must have received a strong/solid/good rating on the most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
ARRT Certification: Certified in Radiography.
CPR/BLS Requirement: CPR or BLS certification required, based on AHA standards, including both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
Required Certifications:
ARRT Certificate
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
Act 33 with renewal
Act 34 with renewal
Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
Diagnostic Technologist Requirements:
Educational Background: Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from an ARRT-approved school of completion of the program and scheduled graduation date.
Supervision: Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT-certified diagnostic technologist until the degree is verified.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
ARRT Registry Eligibility: Eligible as a Radiologic Technologist.
Radiography Registry: Must obtain radiography registry within 12 months of hire date.
CPR/BLS Requirement: CPR or BLS certification is required, based on AHA standards, including a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
