Are you passionate about imaging and looking for a flexible role that fits your schedule? UPMC Wellsboro is seeking a Casual CT Technologist, Diagnostic Technologist, or Imaging Student to join our dedicated team. This position offers a minimum of one eight-hour shift per pay period or one weekend shift per month, with shifts that may be days, evenings, or nights. One holiday per year is required.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Excellence : Perform imaging procedures independently, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
Standardization Activities : Participate in system-level workgroups to standardize practices.
Quality Assurance : Assist with QA, regulatory testing, and other technical initiatives.
Training and Mentorship : Help train staff and student technologists, sharing your expertise.
Flexibility : Work within different clinical areas to support departmental needs, maintaining effective communication with supervisors and managers.
Advanced Competency : Demonstrate proficiency in specialty equipment and analyze data promptly.
Patient Care : Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to the latest protocols and procedures.
Team Collaboration : Work closely with Radiologists on protocol development and ensure excellent communication with all team members.
Qualifications:
Certifications : Primary ARRT certification in Radiology and secondary ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT ® and (CT)).

Requirements for Advanced Multi-Skill Level:
Educational Background : Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program.
Experience : At least 2 years of experience in a primary specialty.
Certifications : Must hold a registry in each specialty.
Performance : Must have received a strong/solid/good rating on the most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
ARRT Certification : Certified as a CT Technologist with active certification in a second specialty.
Dual Competency : Must maintain 2 imaging registries/certifications and demonstrate competency in both as required by the hiring Business Unit.
Flexibility : Willingness to be assigned to any of the maintained registries by leadership.
CPR Certification : Required based on AHA standards, including both a didactic and skills demonstration component, to be completed within 30 days of hire.
Required Certifications:
ARRT Certificate
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
