UBS Business Solutions US LLC is hiring a Director, Java Full Stack Technical Lead (ref. Code 001005) in Weehawken, NJ. Full Time Position.Duties: Gather data requirements and ensure their successful delivery through technology solutions. Exercise technical expertise to lead the overall technical solution for Reference Data Initiatives, interacting across departments (business, operations, and IT) to translate requirements into technical solutions. Establish and lead the technical aspects of a team of skilled engineers and business analysts in multiple locations to execute data strategy. Design and develop of processes and connectors around SMARTCO (EDM Tool), overseeing the overall functional design, development, and testing. Enable complex integrations between AMDH (SMARTCO) and various data sources/systems throughout the division, ensuring AMDH is a central data platform for security master, prices, benchmark, etc. Collaborate with relevant shared services functions such as Infrastructure Services, Global Production Services, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Information Security to ensure timely completion of the planned book of work. Ensure security, scalability, and business continuity of the data infrastructure.This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or 7 years of experience as a Technical Architect, Computer Programmer, Manager-Projects, Lead Architect - Technology, or a related occupation.Requires experience with: Java, J2EE, Web Services (REST/SOAP); developing microservices with Java and Spring and messaging framework; Experience in Oracle database; designing, building, deploying, and maintaining enterprise application; Experience with modern programming techniques to design and develop highly available and secure application on cloud; Developing, debugging and testing experience with a modern programming language, such as Java or Python; Experience with application modernization to ensure applications are scalable, secure and high availability; architecting and implementing enterprise solutions using current best-practice, patterns and methodologies; technical leadership directing the work of Engineers.Qualified Applicants apply through SH-ProfRecruitingcc@ubs.com.
