Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemical Engineering People Leader to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for developing departmental plans, maintaining budgets, diagnosing business issues, and recommending best practices. This role requires a deep understanding of technology trends in toner design and manufacturing, as well as regulatory requirements. This position allows the opportunity to be playing a critical role in leading technology trends in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement departmental plans, including business, production, and organizational priorities.

  • Maintain and manage departmental budgets.

  • Diagnose internal and external business issues and recommend solutions and best practices.

  • Make decisions guided by resource availability and functional objectives.

  • Assign resources based on availability, functional objectives, and priorities.

  • Diagnose technology trends related to toner design and toner manufacturing.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Develop toners and toner processes using DFLSS, Shainin, and DOE principles.

  • Source and qualify toner raw materials.

  • Lead a team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing departmental plans.

  • Strong budget management skills.

  • Ability to diagnose and solve business issues.

  • Knowledge of technology trends in toner design and manufacturing.

  • Understanding of regulatory requirements.

  • Experience with DFLSS, Shainin, and DOE principles.

  • Experience in sourcing and qualifying raw materials.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a related field.

  • Experience in a managerial role within the materials technology industry.

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
