Typical Duties: Lawn and grounds work, snow removal, building cleaning and maintenance Perform light painting duties as directed. Operate commercial mowing and grounds care equipment Operate small engine equipment (weed eater, sod cutter, etc.) Operate 4-WD pickup with plow, agricultural tractors and small backhoe Routine maintenance of equipment and other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications: 2-years landscape, agriculture, or horticulture work experience Possession of a valid Class D Operator's license issued by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles at time of appointment. Ideal candidates will have sports turf and landscape maintenance experience along with additional skills (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, equipment maintenance, etc.) Ability to follow direction, to solve problems and to complete work both independently and as a member of a team while being safe. Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Must have a clean driver's license Requires ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in all weather conditions.
