Description
Innovative client located in the King of Prussia/Wayne area is looking to staff a Senior Accountant with strong knowledge of US GAAP, and experience with the preparation and presentation of financial statements under guidelines established by US GAAP. As the Senior Accountant, you will also oversee the general ledger system, assist with preparing accruals, support tax compliance, complete bank reconciliations, draft financial reports, coordinate the month end/year end close, review bank reconciliations, prepare data for monthly journal entries, perform account reconciliations, assist with the annual audit process, maintain financial records, and perform financial analysis as needed. The successful candidate for this role will have sharp analytical skills, experience improving accounting controls, implementing policy and procedures and technology improvements.
How you will make an impact
· Implement revenue generating control systems
· Prepare monthly financial statements
· Complete month close general ledger activities
· Interpreting and reporting financial data
· Review loan investments
· Budgeting & Forecasting
· Internal/External Audits
· Assist with tax filing/compliance
· Perform account reconciliation
Requirements
The ideal Senior Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
Other requirements for the Senior Accountant role include and are not limited to:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience, public accounting required
· CPA required
· US GAAP knowledge
· Multi-unit retail or service business industry experience preferred
· Advanced Microsoft Office skills
