Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the supervision of Radiologic Technologist, assists in and performs diagnostic procedures as outlined by the Radiologist protocol. Major Responsibilities: Note: The following is a list of the essential functions of the job. Most positions can be described in 6-8 major responsibility areas. Combine minor or occasional duties in one last statement. Do not include a duty which occupies 5% or less of the target job’s time unless it is an essential part of the job. Accountabilities: Operates diagnostic equipment, processes, images, and prepares room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure, under the supervision of the Radiologic Technologist. Other duties include, but are not limited to Clerical, transportation, cleaning, and anything deemed necessary but the Medical Imaging Management Team. Follows the Radiation Protection Program including ALARA, as low as reasonably achievable for patients, physicians, and personnel. Follows all regulatory compliance for DHEC, Joint Commission, ACR and any regulatory agency governing radiation safety. Involves general guidance and direction by a Radiologic Technologist, Supervisor, and/or Department Manager/Director. Provides supports by: Promoting consistent positive patient interactions that advance the agenda of unparalleled patient service Practicing and adhering to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement” Performing other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

• High School Graduate/Equivalent And attending an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology with at least 90 days of clinical experience. Required

• Less than 1 year of experience in clinical Required Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience Licenses, Certifications, & Training:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviors:
