Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Technician for an Oil/Gas company in Waxahachie TX. This technician will be utilizing their mechanical skills to maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including ammonia tanks, piping, and pumps. You will collaborate with customers and corporate staff to resolve technical issues related to refrigeration systems, storage tanks, and pipelines. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a neat, professional appearance. Accurately document work via work orders and service agreements. This candidate should be comfortable with frequent travel (up to 75%) to multiple client locations. You will be given a 2-6 weeks' notice on your work schedule location and time frame. All travel and hotel costs are fully expensed through per diem and company expenses. As part of your benefits, you'll receive a company vehicle, phone, and tablet for communication. Additionally, you'll need to be comfortable with an in-car DVR system that continuously records the view through the vehicle's front windscreen and occasionally rear or other windows for safety purposes.

In your initial year as a Field Service Technician, you'll shadow an experienced colleague who will guide you through client interactions and familiarize you with common machinery. Additionally, you'll receive training on using company vehicles. After eighteen months in the role, there's potential for promotion to Technician 2, and eventually, you can advance to the prestigious level 4 position--the highest tier technician within our organization.

The Field Service Technician role primarily involves physical labor, including driving between sites and performing hands-on tasks at client locations. Successful candidates must pass a criminal background check, drug test, and basic physical examination.

Skills and Requirements

• Required endorsements include Tanker and Hazmat - TWIC card preferred.

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

• Technical diploma, high school diploma, or equivalent

• Previous experience in a similar role Field Service Technician role

• Adapt to changing schedules based on customer needs and available DOT hours null
