Job Title: Recruiting Strategy & Associate Experience Intern

Job Summary: The Recruiting Strategy & Associate Experience Intern will support the rollout of various strategic recruiting and talent management priorities. Be an integral part of the People Team’s COE team and have opportunities to learn, innovate and explore. Conduct research projects, collect data, and partner with vendors to make suggestions that will enhance the use of technology. This role involves benchmarking research, documenting current processes, identifying gaps and best practices, and providing project support as needed.
Principal Duties:
Research and Data Collection: Conduct research projects and collect data to support strategic recruiting and talent management initiatives.
Vendor Collaboration: Partner with vendors to determine further enhancements for the use of technology.
Benchmarking: Reach out to numerous retail partners to share best practices.
Process Standardization: Review current recruiting processes. Identify gaps, best practices, and provide concepts for standardization.
Project Support: Assist with project support as needed, ensuring timely and effective execution of initiatives.
Feedback Gathering: Gather and quantify current feedback from Store Operations to inform strategic decisions.
Collaboration: Partner with COE leaders to support various projects.
Essential Functions:

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Basic Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 or Higher
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a college or university for the Spring 2025 semester – Fall 2026 semester
Candidate must be available from May 19, 2025 – August 7, 2025
Wawa currently observes a 4-day in office schedule Monday - Thursday with an opportunity to work remote on Friday.
