Natchez Trace Youth Academy is a highly-structured 115-bed cognitive behavioral program serving adolescent males ages 10-17 years old. Our interdisciplinary staff helps residents refocus their thinking patterns in order to improve their actions/behavior. Our diverse team works together to facilitate the changes that become an investment in the future of each young man's life and his family's life. We are located in the beautiful hills of Tennessee between two magnificent rivers, just 15 miles south of Waverly, Tennessee. Our spacious grounds occupy over 120 acres and include athletic fields, and alpine tower.

Natchez Trace Youth Academy is seeking a dynamic Program Manager - Operations to provide programmatic leadership and supervision to direct care/program staff. Works in association with the all levels of leadership to ensure consistency in care provided by the residential care staff. Implements programming and provides ongoing training and supervision to create and maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu, and maintains patient safety. This position reports to the Director of Residential Services.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Supervises Lead Techs and Mental Health Techs

  • Organizes therapeutic recreational activities in conjunction with the Recreational Coordinator(s)

  • Works in conjunction with the Scheduling Coordinator to ensure staffing coverage is compliant with ratio requirements.

  • Assists the Director of Learning and Development in training and ensuring effective onboarding of new staff.

  • Works with the Program Improvement Manager to identify trends and make adjustments as needed for continuous improvement of patient care/clinical outcomes.

  • Assures compliance with company policies and procedures through diligent supervision and examination of all unit activity/workflow, including monitoring documentation for accuracy and legibility.

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in required in psychology, social work or other relevant field

  • A minimum of two years of experience working in a residential facility for children. Management experience preferred.

  • Valid state Driver's License.
