Guthrie Clerk II- Administration- Full Time in Waverly, New York

Position Summary: Responsible for, answering phones, gathering referral information, following acceptance by the Clinical manager, entering and scanning data into the computer system, and entering new patients to the schedule. Education, License & Cert: High School graduate or equivalent required. Experience: Knowledge of medical and technical terms. Experience in the management of medical records and the use of computers desired. Essential Functions: 1. Must have excellent phone skills. Answers phones and directs phone parties accordingly. 2. Must have good computer skills. 3. Scheduling and coordinating of all levels of home care with service providers and personnel. 4. Assists with insurance eligibility and visit authorizations as requested. 5. Responsible for creating Admit packets. 6. Responsible for accurately filing/scanning. 7. Responsible for accurate entry of demographic, clinical and financial information into the Home health Care information system. 8. Adheres to all divisional, corporate, regulatory and HIPAA requirements related to the privacy and security of confidential patient information. Other Duties: 1. Other duties as assigned to complete office operations.

The pay ranges from $16.00-$22.27 per/ hr.
