(Wauseon, OH) seeks Lawn & Landscape Technicians - 6 full-time, temporary jobs available 04/01/2025 - 10/31/2025. Duties: Responsible for landscaping and maintaining grounds and property using hand and power tools and equipment. This includes mowing, weed eating, edging, raking, trimming, planting, pruning, aerating, fertilizing, and watering. Performs spring and fall lawn and flower bed clean ups. Grading, digging, raking, seeding, hauling and spreading mulch and topsoil using wheelbarrow, shovels, and rakes. Install sod, flowers, trees, bushes, and mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Clean and maintain tools and equipment. Use an array of hand tools and gas-powered tools, including mowers, string trimmers, and air blowers. Work in all weather conditions. Must be able to walk, bend, crouch, and stoop for long periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Post-hire drug testing may be required for all workers, both domestic and H2B at employer's expense. Post-hire drug testing at employer's expense also may be conducted randomly, post-accident, and upon suspicion. Post-hire background check may be conducted at employer's expense. WORKSITE: 13211 County Road J, Wauseon, OH, 43567. Transportation provided from a central location to worksites within Williams, Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Lucas, and Wood Counties in Ohio, and Jackson, Washtenaw, Monroe, Lenawee, and Hillsdale Counties in Michigan. No education required. No experience required. Work hours: Mon-Thurs 7:30am-6:00pm (Friday work required, when necessary). 40 hours/week at $18.82/hour, OT at 28.23/hour. Bonuses/raises may be paid at employer discretion based on performance, skill, tenure. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Thursday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. Employer will assist workers in securing housing, but employer will not provide housing. Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period.
