Aston Carter Technical Customer Service Representative in Waunakee, Wisconsin

Onsite Technical Customer Service Representative


3 Month Contract-to-Hire


Responsible for providing sales support to customers and sales reps including but not limited to expediting, quoting, order taking, restocking and troubleshooting problems. It's not a typical CSR role where it is call after call. They are taking custom orders and will have client specific questions that will require reaching out to other departments such as engineering and warehouse. They will be starting as Order Processing Reps which is more of a data entry role while they are learning the system and product lines. They'll be working in Outlook, Excel, and SAP.

The bilingual customer service representative will be supporting 80% US customers and 20 % South America customers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:


-1 year of customer service or order entry(resume)

  • Ability to think analytically and pick up technical product knowledge (verify thru references)

-Positive attitude (verify thru references/IOI)

-45 WPM

-Strong computer skills (verify thru references)

  • Excellent attention to detail (verify thru references)

  • High School Diploma


  • 4 year college degree

-Experience with SAP

  • 2-4 years of experience working in technical customer service

  • Familiarity with power transmission industry

  • Candidate who enjoys some type of technical aspect outside of work (car mechanic, farmer, etc)

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (verify thru references)
