Generac Energy Technologies is seeking a Senior Manager of Component Quality Engineering to join our growing team. This position will build and lead a team of technical Component Quality Engineers with focus on all electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical commodity suppliers for Generac Clean Energy products. The successful candidate and team will aid in the selection and supplier qualification for all commodity suppliers, manage the technical aspects of the individual component commodities and cover all technical process audits and problem resolution. Candidates should be passionate about assuring high quality, defect free parts and subassemblies are delivered for the manufacture of final assemblies. This position is based out of one of the following locations: -Waukesha, WI. -Portland, ME -Bedford, MA -Reno, NV -Pacific Palisades, CA Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for building a team of Technical Component Quality Engineers with capability of understanding the product function, manufacturing processes and materials. The following list of commodities will be the responsibility of this Technical Supplier Quality Group. 1.Printed Circuit Boards (PCB\'s) 2.Wound components 3.FETs and Power Electronics 4.Relays 5.IC\'s 6.Cables and Connectors 7.Mechanical Parts - Castings, Moldings, Stampings 8.Ohers as required Supplier/Partner selection and development.
