Environment Control of Wisconsin, Inc. Manager Assistant - Waukesha Based- Commercial Cleaning in Waukesha, Wisconsin

We are hiring a full-time Manager assistant to assist running our Supply room, deliver supplies and equipment to our customers facilities. Also assists in filling-in for day-porters when needed at various locations.

The hours for the position are typically between 7 am- 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, but may vary depending on need.

Some Duties include:

  • Driving company van and box trucks throughout Greater Waukesha Area and surrounding communities

  • Loading and unloading supplies and equipment

  • Inventory and Inspections

  • Stocking shelves

  • Laundry of towels and mops

  • General Cleaning and light maintenance

  • Helping with Project work as needed

  • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 18 years of age

  • Fluent in the English language; also reading and writing

  • Bilingual, Spanish helpful but not required

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Basic mathematical proficiency

  • Basic computer skills

  • Completed Controller training

  • Some travel required supporting all company offices

  • Each employee must have a Valid Driver's License, be insurable on our business auto insurance (requires a reasonable driving record), pass a criminal background check, and pass a Drug test is required to qualify for the position.

    $19.00/hour+ benefits 

    All full-time employees are eligible for Dental, Health, paid vacation, plus AFLAC and The Legal Shield on the 1st of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.  We offer yearly performance and wage reviews.

    Areas of responsibility

  • Technical skills:

  • Know, understand and perform all EC cleaning procedures

  • Attend all required team and training meetings

  • Know, understand, and perform all related floor care maintenance procedures, supplies and equipment:

  • carpet spotting, shampoo and extraction

  • stairwell scrubbing and extraction

  • fabric partition cleaning

  • upholstery cleaning

  • hard surfaces/tile stripping, scrubbing and recoating

  • hard surfaces/tile burnishing

  • window cleaning

  • general construction clean-up

  • truck mount

  • Complete Day Porter/Cleaner routes, training and fill-in

  • Complete or assist with 1x jobs

  • Assist with ongoing account walk-throughs and new account start-ups

  • Prepare New Account supply setups

  • Assist in general cleaning and other general project work when needed

  • Complete account inspections

  • Assist with fleet vehicle maintenance, deliver/pickup vehicles to mechanic or car wash facilities

    1. Supplies and Equipment:
  • Monitor supply inventory levels in storage room, garage and the available back-up equipment

  •  Report ordering needs and parts requirements to Branch Operations Managers or Operations/Supply Administrator

  •  Complete an inventory of all supplies monthly, including floor care supplies

  •  Order, receive, and stock supplies and inventory from vendors

  • Launder cleaning rags, mop heads, dust mop heads, fiber towels

  • Report additional ordering needs to Operations Manager

  • Deliver supplies and equipment

    The position can be demanding physically, occasionally requires work on lifts, etc., and each applicant must be able to lift up to 100lbs as needed. 

Finally, our Manager assistants must be professional and friendly, as their work involves a lot of face-to-face customer interaction and service.
