Insight Global Level 2 Desktop Support Technician in Waukesha, Wisconsin

Job Description

Our client is looking to bring on a Level 2 Desktop Support Technician to join their team in Brookfield, Wisconsin. This position is responsible for handling PC and mobile device support in a timely manner and assisting users with various advanced systems issues. Responsibilities include:

 Provide onsite level 2 technical support.

 Troubleshoot software, hardware, and mobile device problems.

 Document client issues in a ticket management system.

 Interact with clients and co-workers to diagnose and resolve problems.

 Analyze, resolve, track, and accurately document various technical problems.

 Support features, functionality, and usage of specific business applications for which knowledge will be acquired over time when supporting the client.

 Stay current on and adhere to established policies, procedures, documentation and technologies key to long-term success.

 Build positive relationships with clients.

 Document conversations with vendors, current and potential clients, and others in writing.

 Provide onsite IMAC (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes) desktop support by following documented procedures for desktop imaging.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of hands-on desktop support experience; strong customer service skills

 Microsoft Office 2016/2019/365 Online (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

 Microsoft Outlook 2016/2019/365 Online

 Office365 Exchange Online administration

 Windows 10 & 11 Operating Systems

 Chromebook (Chrome OS)

 Cisco VPN AnyConnect configuration

 Knowledge with various desktop imaging solutions such as WDS and others along with awareness of hardware refresh procedures

 Active Directory and user account changes School District experience

 Google Chrome- G Suite experience

 Education Environment Support null
