Description We are offering a unique opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Watsonville, California, United States. The role primarily involves managing and processing accounts receivable transactions, communicating with customers, and maintaining detailed reports. This role is a contract opportunity and will play a crucial role in our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily invoice processing, posting accounts receivable transactions into the accounting system

• Regularly interact with customers via telephone and e-mail to address any issues that arise

• Provide regular status updates on the current position of accounts receivable, identifying any delinquent receivables

• Initiate discussions with customers as necessary due to delinquent amounts

• Develop and maintain reports and files on the accounts receivable status and processing both in Excel and in the accounting system

• Prepare daily invoices for all shipments from the plant

• Record all cash receipts, whether by ACH, wire, check, or cash on the day of the receipt

• Review outstanding invoices and communicate with customers to ensure accounts are paid timely

• Monitor customer accounts for timely payments and take necessary actions for any delinquent payments

• Utilize Accounts Receivable (AR), Wire Requests, and Accounts receivables systems to efficiently manage financial operations. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is required

• Must have experience in handling Wire Requests

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivables systems is essential

• Experience in Collections is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required

• Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices is preferred

• Must be able to multitask and prioritize work effectively

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required

• Must have problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze information accurately

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
