Job Title: Finish Carpenter

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented finish carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in fine carpentry and a passion for precision. Depending on years in the trade you will be compensated within the range of $26 - $34 an hour. If you have a mixture of framing and finish then you will be considered the ideal candidate. A tools list will be sent to you prior to starting. This position is slated to start on or around January 6th. The job will be converting an old hotel into dorm rooms for Colby College. The job is slated to go into the later months of 2026.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (7am-3:30pm)

Scope of Work: Commercial construction. Working apart of a finish carpentry crew.

  • Installing trim, molding, and other decorative elements

  • Crafting and installing cabinets, doors, and windows

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and plans

  • Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards and specifications

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00
