WIS PAK - WATERTOWN Production Lead in WATERTOWN, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Production Lead 2nd Shift ( 1:15pm-10:00pm) Monday-Friday Wis-Pak Inc., a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of Pepsi-Cola, Mountain Dew, Klarbrunn, Bubbl\'r and other leading beverages, is currently accepting applications for full-time General Equipment Operators at its Watertown, WI facility. JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Note:The job functions relate to the job, not the individual.) 1.Under minimal supervision, coordinate and assign daily production work to dept. staff.Ensure that employees fully understand the work to be completed, priorities, and methods of procedure. 2.Monitor & evaluate performance of production employees. Assist in new & ongoing training. 3.Provide leadership and direction to department staff. 4.Respond to and investigate problems resulting in downtime. Record problem(s) & provide detailed documentation of solution &/or procedures performed. Complete all other necessary reports (i.e. line check, raw material quality, full goods quality, etc.).Communicate info. during shift transitions. 5.Ensure accuracy of all operators\' paperwork. 6.Ensure the machines are maintained and running properly and safely.Complete line check reports. 7.Accurately complete all required process documentation on a timely basis. 8.Assist the Shift Supervisor(s) in the system evaluation process, planning & personnel issues. Provide suggestions / recommendations for changes and/or improvements in production methods. 9.Facilitate & expedite production line start-up, changeovers & shutdowns. Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on machines as needed. 10.Fully utilize personnel at all times (i.e., cleaning, repackage, restocking raw materials, staging raw materials, assisting with facility improvement projects, helping out wherever needed, etc.) 11.Monitor raw materials & full goods, for quality & availability, and complete appropriate paperwork. 12.Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures on machines and work area. 13.Comply with all food safety, plant and equipment safety, GMP, and sanitation standards and procedures.
