Transitional Living Services Inc. ACT Team Leader in Watertown, New York

The Team Leader, under the supervision of the Clinic Director, is responsible for oversight of all daily administrative operations of the ACT Team, ensuring compliance with agency policies and state and federal regulations, including program compliance with all grant, contract, certification requirements, audits and safety procedures, providing data for completion of required reports (i.e. completion of Annual Reports, Grant Reports, etc.) and follows appropriate emergency, security and safety procedures (i.e. fire alarms, security alarms, etc.). The Team Leader will coordinate a full range of clinical treatment, psychosocial rehabilitation, and community support services designed to promote recovery by improving psychiatric symptoms, preventing relapse, teaching skills, providing direct assistance and securing community resources necessary for successful functioning in work, school, home and social relationships. The Team Leader will exercise supervision over all professional and paraprofessional subordinates, ensuring demonstration of core competencies initially and in continued job performance. Positions may require use of a personal vehicle to transport clients when an agency vehicle is not available. Employees are expected to complete a satisfactory background check, to hold a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, and to provide proof of COVID immunization. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Master's degree or higher in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling or a related field, OR licensure/registration as a registered nurse (prefer masters level or NP) or physician. Three years of mental health supervisory or management experience in an OMH facility; or an equivalent combination of experience and training as defined above.
