Trek is looking for a self-motivated individual with attention to detail to fill a key seat on our growing Tax team. The Financial Analyst - Tax will report directly to the Tax Manager and will be located in Waterloo, WI.This position requires an ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where attention to detail, analytical skills and strong communication skills are essential. Candidate should have a high level of curiosity & be hungry to get their hands into the details and be able to effectively construct, manage and communicate the results of their analysis. What you’ll do as a Financial Analyst - Tax :

  • Assemble, manipulate, and summarize transactional data for US Direct & Indirect tax filings

  • Gather and map fixed asset data to prepare Property Tax filings for US business locations

  • Assemble, manipulate, and summarize transactional data for Canada Direct & Indirect tax filings

  • Prepare / monitor business licenses and annual reports for US & Canadian business locations

  • Proactively participate in process analysis and improvements

  • Collaborate with internal team members in Finance on various tax matters and questions

    What you’ll bring to the role / what we’re look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 1+ years experience preferred

  • Strong computer technical skills – Advanced MS Excel; JDE or similar ERP systems; Business Intelligence; Sage FAS; Corptax; PTMS

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Team Player, self-motivated, organized, analytical and detail oriented
