As part of our continuing growth in this high technology market, Teledyne Digital Imaging is recruiting for an Analog Mixed-Signal IC Designer in Waterloo.
Teledyne DALSA CMOS Image Sensor group is looking for an Analog Mixed-Signal IC Designer to join its world leading CMOS Image Sensor development team.
The successful candidate will work in a team environment to develop innovative IC products, from design through to production, for use in a wide variety of high-performance applications in Machine Vision, Aerospace, Life Sciences, and Defense & Security.
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience in transistor level design, simulation, layout, and verification of CMOS circuit blocks such as bandgap references, operational amplifiers, comparators, high speed ADCs, PLLs and data serializers
Have comprehensive understanding of integrated circuit design flows, methodologies and layout of low noise and high-speed circuit blocks, using modern EDA tools such as Cadence, Siemens, Synopsys, etc
Have experience with the debug of mixed-signal devices in lab validation
Have knowledge of Verilog/Verilog-AMS
Work well in a team development environment and have strong communication skills
Have a proven ability to problem solve and innovate in a dynamic environment
Work with product definition teams, internal and external customers, program managers, and technical project leaders in other disciplines
The successful candidate will possess:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
2+ years of experience in mixed-signal IC development
Experience with CMOS Image Sensor development is an asset
