Bev's Canvas Covers Sewing machine operator in Waterford, Michigan
Get paid to learn a trade! Our main job is sewing, fitting and repairing boat covers and pontoon covers. We do boat upholstery, lawn furniture and cushions over the winter. Fulltime, open all year, we do not shut down over the winter. We work on anything that can be sewn with our commercial sewing machines. We work as a team, helping each other to get jobs completed. Help keep the shop clean and orderly. Answer the phone, help customers. Cannot be allergic to mold or mildew. Must be able to lift heavy covers, climb ladders and get in and out of boats. This is NOT an all day sitdown job. Must speak, read and write English.
8 hour work day 9:30-6:00 Monday-Friday, Occasional 9-noon Sat
