Description:
Position Purpose
At Saint Mary’s Hospital, the Emergency Department is a Level II Trauma Center. This unit is a primary stroke center and is a pediatric receiving facility. The unit is consistent of 46 beds, 8 of which are emergency behavioral health beds. You will engage with staff from the unit and build relationships and learn different types of nursing and become savvy with new skill sets.
What you will do
In this critical role you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, play an active part in unit shared decision making, and enjoy practice autonomy using nurse driven protocols.
Minimum Qualifications
Education : Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
Licensure : Current Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Connecticut.
Certification : Active BLS
Preferred Skills:
- Experience: Acute care, Medical-Surgical experience preferred.
Work Schedule :
- Full time – 36 hours – Day Shift - 9am - 9:30pm.
