Trinity Health Behavioral Health LPN Part Time Nights in Waterbury, Connecticut

Description:

Position Purpose

At Saint Mary’s Hospital, our Behavioral Health Services include a full range of mental health and substance abuse treatment programs for adults. This 12-bed unit offers private and semi-private rooms, a dining area, and a TV/group lounge for our patients to engage with staff and socialize with peers. We strive to create a healing, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for our patients to be able to successfully transition back to their communities with support services. Our team of nurses, mental health workers social workers, PCA’s, APRNs and psychiatrists utilize comprehensive evaluations, focus.

What you will do

In this critical role you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, play an active part in unit shared decision making, and enjoy practice autonomy using nurse driven protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education : Graduate of an accredited LPN program.

  • Licensure : Current Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Connecticut.

  • Certification : Active BLS

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience: Acute care, Medical-Surgical experience preferred.

Work Schedule : part time – 24 hours – Nights
